www.diabetes.org.uk A website run by Diabetes UK, the main diabetes charity in the country. It has useful information concerning diabetes and how to manage and live with this condition.

www.patient.co.uk This is the website our computer in the practice is linked to. Information is regularly updated. It has leaflets describing common medical conditions and links to websites for support groups.

www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk The NHS direct website. Gives advice on various conditions and also has a self help guide for minor illnesses.

www.besttreatments.co.uk This is a website run by the British medical journal publishing group. It aims to present the best evidence based on latest research for the treatment of various medical conditions.
